as a journalist, hitting my keyboard with enough ferocity to publish news reports in time, waxing lyrical about expensive food, interviewing the VFX wizards behind movies and geeking out over the latest smartphones.

But of all my assignments, I enjoyed writing feature stories the most because they allowed me to meet people from diverse backgrounds. Each had a unique adventure begged to be shared. So I retold each turmoil and each victory of the human spirit with as much respect and gusto as I could muster, hoping that these stories would be an inspiration to others.

I never did really know for sure if these stories actually reached the people who needed to discover them and made an impact in their lives. Even before I could figure it out, I was already whisked off to my next assignment.

& how I became a Growth Marketer

I was writing about beautiful, newly renovated homes. Discussed in its entirety, each article painted a vivid portrait of the people who lived in the homes. But the architects, the interior designers, the furniture makers and even the appliance brands were the ones that designed and outfitted the homes - and they wanted to announce themselves in the stories.

I needed to find a way to deliver the value and the impact that these advertisers were looking for. As the old adage goes, clients are the ones paying my salary. That was when I began delving into how I could connect the messages these advertisers wanted to tell with the right audiences. In doing so, I was able to help bridge the crucial last-mile gap between audiences being interested in a brand’s products or services and them actually choosing these products or services.

Today, these strategies and tactics that I've picked up over the years and experimented with and honed throughout my career are part of a holistic approach that I'll apply to your brand to deliver the impact and growth you’re looking for. I dub this approach the Growth Marketing Model

And I love growth marketing so much because it allows me to help bring you financial success (so you can enjoy life's luxuries), which also brings me financial success (so I can enjoy life's luxuries too, albeit on a smaller scale).

I didn't continue writing about people's homes for long. As my appetite for wanting to make an impact grew - ironically, for brands that were willing to pay, not in people's lives - grew, I joined a host of marketing roles in different industries to discover the winning strategies and tactics that would enable me to make an impact for them.
